Our meditation groups are for you if you are telling yourself "I've tried and just can't meditate!" These groups are excellent for a first-time meditator or anyone who has struggled or found it frustrating to meditate. The most common complaint is "I can't seem to stop the thoughts" or "I have found it very difficult to quiet my mind".
Unlike mindfulness meditation, guided meditation provides context for the mind to focus on and assists the meditator in obtaining the level of lower brain waves (alpha/theta waves) without the frustration or struggle!
Many experienced meditators enjoy both guided and mindfulness meditation practices.
Beginning September 2020
Beginner's Meditation Group meets at our center beginning on September 11th, 2020 on Fridays at 8:45 - 9:45 am
This group is for anyone who has not meditated or as tried and was unable to successfully meditate in the past. This group will learn how to use breathing techniques that will aid in quieting the "monkey mind". Donation only.

Advanced Meditation Group meets at our center beginning September 11th, 2020 on Fridays at 1:00 - 2:00 pm
This group is for experienced meditators. Both guided and unguided meditations will be offered. Donation only. Due to COVID-19 restrictions registration is required
